The community center offers a daily program for our older adults from 9 a.m. to noon. Whether you are an active adult looking to get in shape or just looking to get out of the house and make new friends we have something for everyone. Our program offers social, education and health/fitness opportunities throughout day. Some of the programs offered are computer education, disease prevention seminars, wellness activities and social luncheons.
Participants must have a City of Winter Park Recreation ID in order to participate. The IDs are FREE to residents and available at the community center. Some programs and trips may have an additional fee.
Aerobic Jams
Aerobic Jams is a fun and exciting, low to high impact class depending on the level of the participant, with varies types of music to fit the routine. Exercise routines that are easy and modified on the joints can reduce and even help improve pain. Routines that provide companionship such as group classes can offer both physiological and emotional benefits.

These exercises are designed to improve core strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, circulation and reaction time. A variety of light-hearted music combined with fun rehabilitative movements make this a good middle-of-the-road full body workout for anyone. These programs are sure to lift your spirits and put a smile on your face.

Crealdé Arts & Crafts

Crealdé’s arts and craft activities help engage the mind, stimulate brain cells, and provide very necessary interaction and communication with others. Many crafts, such as painting and playing music, help maintain eye and hand coordination and encourage stimulation of electrical impulses in the brain that offer pleasure to those engaging in pleasant and enjoyable activities.

Gentle Yoga
A gentle yoga class appropriate for seniors and novices. Class focuses on basic yoga postures, breathing exercises, stress reduction, and meditation techniques. No previous experience is necessary.

Walking to the Oldies
Come join us for a little walk with music from back in the good old days. Walking gives your entire system a boost and can be a key part of a healthy and independent senior lifestyle. The idea is to give yourself the benefits of exercise while learning your limits and getting to know your own body.

Zumba Gold
This class uses the same principles as our regular Zumba class, but targets adults 55+. Get some exercise while you dance to Latin rhythms; some much fun you will not even feel like you are exercising!
