Purpose
The intent and purpose of the High-Efficiency Washing Machine Rebate Program are to reduce the amount of indoor water usage by Winter Park Utilities customers through the conversion of older high-water-use washing machines with new High-Efficiency Washing Machines. HE washing machines use 10-25 gallons of water per full load or less.

Duration
The rebate program was established in October 2012 and will continue as long as funding is available. The continuation of the rebate program is based on the approval of the City of Winter Park City Commission. The rebate program is not retroactive.
Appeals
Any applicant who disputes the decision of the City of Winter Park Utilities regarding the eligibility for a rebate must submit their comments in writing to the City of Winter Park, Water & Wastewater Utilities, Rebate Coordinator, 401 S. Park Ave., Winter Park, Florida 32789.
