The Winter Park Farmers’ Market building is one of the area’s most popular sites due to its unique architecture and historic nature. Brick walls and wood sliding doors are original to this former train depot. This facility can seat up to 180 inside and features an outdoor fenced parking lot that can be utilized for tented seating as well.

Seating capacity is 180 guests. This 2800-square-foot facility is air-conditioned and equipped with a prep kitchen which includes commercial refrigeration and ice machine. Tables and chairs are included with rental. On-site parking in the fenced parking lot, which is also available for rental as an additional tented seating area, if desired. The City of Winter Park allows you to choose your own event vendors including caterers, planners, etc.

Make a Reservation

Reserving the Farmers’ Market is easy. The building accommodates 180 seated guests and the rental fee includes tables & chairs, patio and kitchen.

Please contact us to check availability and discuss your upcoming event. Business hours are Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Reservation Policies

  • Holds may be made in person or via email by submitting a Facility Request Form and will expire without notice to customer on day seven of the courtesy hold.
  • Customers with courtesy holds will not be contacted by the reservations office prior to expiration of courtesy hold.
  • Reservations will not be considered firm until a contract is signed and a deposit accepted by courtesy hold deadline.

All changes to contract for rental dates, times, rooms rented and/or cancellations must be made in writing

Weekend Rentals

Friday & Saturday @ $2,500 | $300 refundable deposit

  • 5 p.m. to midnight
  • Full building rentals include rental room, patio and kitchen.
  • Events must be cleaned up and everyone off premises by midnight.

Weekday Rentals

Sunday through Thursday @ $315/hour | $300 refundable deposit

  • 8 a.m. to midnight
  • 2-hour minimum required.
  • Full building rentals include rental room, patio and kitchen.

Policies & Procedures

Deposits

Deposits are required for all rentals.

  • Deposits are held separate from the rental fees and are not applied toward account balances.
  • Deposits are refunded 4-6 weeks after the event unless the deposit or a portion of the deposit is retained due to violation of contract rules & regulations specified in rental agreement. Some include:
    • Damage to building, equipment, property.
    • Entering rental rooms prior to time specified on contract.
    • Exceeding posted maximum room capacities.
    • Excessive cleaning.
    • Failure to provide proper alcohol sales permit when selling alcohol.
    • Failure to remove all items from building. No storage allowed.
    • Failure to vacate facility at time specified on contract (time used in excess of contracted time is charged at time and one half rate).
    • Misrepresentation of the organization or type of event.
    • Smoking inside facility.
    • Throwing of rice.
    • Use of confetti or glitter inside or outside.
    • Use of rooms that are not specified on contract.
    • Use of sparklers inside or outside.
    • Use of tape, tacks, staples, nails on walls or furniture.

Rental Fees

  • Checks payable to the City of Winter Park may be accepted up to 30 days prior to event.
  • Money orders and MasterCard or Visa are accepted.
  • All cancellations will result in loss of deposit for any reason.
  • Rental fees are due 30 days prior to the event.
  • Rental fees are non-refundable without a 30-day notice. (Patron will remain responsible for payment of rental even if the event does not take place.)
  • Failure to pay fees as outlined above will result in collection procedures.
  • The person signing the contract is responsible for the orderly conduct of attendees.
  • If not being used for parking, the parking lot must be rented separately .
  • Candles or alcohol burning equipment must be placed in non-combustible, well-supported bases with flame protection.
  • Clean up includes placing all papers in trash cans, cleaning spills from floors, counters, tables, etc., picking up litter both indoors and outdoors, and removing all customer belongings from building.
  • Farmers’ Market staff are not responsible for any items left at the Farmers’ Market.
  • Kitchen clean up includes clearing refrigerators, counters and center table, sink and floors.
  • No LP gas or propane in pressured containers are permitted inside building or within 10 feet of building.
  • The City of Winter Park reserves the right to cancel any events/rentals in any city-owned facility or park.
  • Parking lot amenities and/or landscaping may change without notice.
  • The sale of alcohol, directly or indirectly, such as cover charge, is prohibited.
