On September 8, 2008, the City Commission approved the creation of the Economic Development/Community Redevelopment Agency Department. This new department will be responsible for the continued management and growth of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) as well as working to capitalize on economic development and business sustainability opportunities throughout the city.
Through the CRA and Economic Development sections, the Economic Development/Community Redevelopment Agency Department offers a number of programs for residents and businesses in the City of Winter Park, from housing rehabilitation assistance to small business start-up loans.
