The Phelps Park Playground
In October 2020, City Commission approved the construction of a new, state-of-the-art playground for Phelps Park. Resident input was gathered from a Playground Renovation Input Vote with six options to choose from. Option 1 was overwhelmingly chosen as the favorite playground.
Phelps Park Playground was built in partnership with Kompan Designs® playground equipment to improve physical, cognitive, creative and social development helping to build key life skills and friendships. The playground is inviting to children from ages 2-12, and features slides, climbing apparatus and swings. It is fully fenced with beautiful shade trees and two pavilions which are available for rental. Onsite parking and restrooms are available.
