WARNING: The off-leash area of Lake Baldwin Park will reopen Saturday, February 4, but LAKE ACCESS IS PROHIBITED. Lake conditions ARE NOT SAFE for pets and their humans. If any portion of the fence is tampered with or anyone chooses to go beyond it to enter the lake, the park will be CLOSED until lake conditions improve.

About Lake Baldwin Park
Lake Baldwin Park is a beautiful, shady park that covers 23.16 acres on Lake Baldwin. The park is one of two city parks which boasts a sandy beach. This park is the only park in the city known as “dog-friendly” – dogs may be off-leash during park hours of 8 a.m. to sunset.
Please note: The park is closed every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month until 12 p.m. for maintenance.
This area is permanently CLOSED to people for the purpose of swimming.
Lake Baldwin Park offers two pavilions available for reservation, a boat ramp for boats with no gas engines, picnic tables, and restrooms.
