The Winter Park Events Center features distinguished detail you won’t find anywhere else. It is located in Winter Park, the City of Culture and Heritage. Find your perfect ceremony location in one of several areas that are available both indoors and outdoors in the Grand Ballroom, Belvedere, Rooftop Terrace or picturesque Tiedtke Amphitheater.
The 4,700 square-foot Grand Ballroom features soaring ceilings and unsurpassed views, making it the perfect venue for a wedding reception. A monumental, circular staircase takes guests to the Rooftop Terrace for a unique experience available only at the Winter Park Events Center.
Beautifully equipped dressing rooms are available both upstairs and downstairs for the wedding party’s convenience. Venue-owned tables and chairs are provided for each event or rental furniture can be brought in with Events Center staff assistance.

Our versatile venue features state-of-the-art projection screens, audio visual equipment, serene views and high-end furnishings. The Tiedtke Amphitheater is a great opportunity to feature live music, a cocktail reception or tented soirée.
The entire Events Center is available for weddings, social gatherings, corporate events, fundraisers and much more. This reservation includes beautiful venue-owned tables and chairs where guests will be surrounded by dynamic architecture that enhances any event.

The Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 240 seated guests banquet style. It can also accommodate up to 270 seated guests theater style for meetings, training sessions, etc.
Boasting a 17-foot domed ceiling and soaring arched windows, the Grand Ballroom provides attendees 270-degree views of the lakeside property. The high-quality, built-in sound system accompanied by controlled lighting allows for paramount versatility.

With stunning views of the park and beyond, the Rooftop Terrace can accommodate up to 130 guests. Soaring 38 feet above Lake Mendsen, this unique 2,200-square-foot Terrace atop the city’s newest venue provides attendees a unique experience.

With an expansive view of central Florida’s skyline on one side and the striking interior monumental staircase on the other, this 700-square-foot room holds up to 36 seated guests for private meetings, bridal showers, parties, training sessions and the like. It is fully equipped with a high-tech audiovisual system along with venue-owned tables and chairs. It is conveniently adjacent to the spectacular Rooftop Terrace.

The elevated 6,300-square-foot Belvedere platform overlooking Lake Mendsen is perfect for cocktail parties or celebratory dinners. The elongated breezeway between the Events Center and Library provides a picturesque backdrop for wedding ceremonies of all types. This unique space features a beautifully landscaped circular zone with uplighting.

This picturesque outdoor area overlooking sparkling Lake Mendsen is ideal for wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties, musical performances and more. Tenting is allowed, electrical outlets are available, and ambient lighting glows throughout.

Self-parking is available on-site as well as in surrounding lots, depending on the date and time of your event. If you prefer, valet parking services can be arranged by the client through an outside vendor which works well with our beautiful Porte Cochère that provides protection from inclement weather.

Booking & Deposit
To reserve the Winter Park Events Center, an event rental contract must be signed and returned to the reservations office within seven calendar days from the inquiry form submittal date.
A provisional hold will be placed on your date as a courtesy to allow time to review and sign the contract and pay your initial deposits. Only one date may be held per special event and may not be extended.
