The Winter Park Welcome Center located at 151 West Lyman Avenue is the result of a partnership between the City of Winter Park and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. The building and land is owned by the city and the chamber occupies and manages the facility. Additional financial supporters of the Welcome Center include the Winter Park Health Foundation, Winter Park Memorial Hospital (a Florida Hospital), CenturyLink, Fannie Hillman & Associates and Workscapes, Inc.
The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce executive offices occupy the second floor of the Welcome Center. The first floor has a distinctive lobby with 11 video monitors, 3 lap tops and an abundance of information about Winter Park. The first floor also houses public restrooms, the J.K. and Sarah Galloway Foundation Community Gallery and the Winter Park Health Foundation Community Room. The Galloway Gallery will feature, on a rotating basis, local non-profits and educational institutions. The Winter Park Health Foundation Community Room is a public room available to rent for meetings, luncheons and social functions.
The welcome center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, please call 407-644-8281.
