Early voting
You may early vote Monday through Friday, March 2-6, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office located at 119 W. Kaley St. in Orlando.

Qualifications
At time of qualifying, candidates must be a qualified elector and reside within Winter Park city limits.

PRE-QUALIFYING PAPERS May be filed prior to qualifying period. | |
Appointment of Campaign Treasurer and Designation of Campaign Depository | Form must be filed with the City Clerk before campaign account is opened, actively campaigning, receiving contributions or making expenditures, and obtaining petitions. (Form DS-DE-9) |
Statement of Candidate | Must be filed within 10 days after filing of the Appointment of Campaign Treasurer and Designation of Campaign Depository. (Form DS-DE-84) |

Nominating Petitions | At least 25 signed petitions, validated by Orange County SOE, are required. Candidate must pay 10 cents for signature verification of each petition at the time of submittal (F.S. 99.095(4)(a). (Form DS-DE-104). |
Statement of Financial Interest | Statement of Financial Interest must be filed using the Commission Ethics Electronic Financial Disclosure Management System (EFDMS) Electronic Financial Disclosure Management System Incumbent candidates and candidates who already have an existing filing requirement must also utilize the EFDMS to print the disclosure or print a verification of filing from their Filer Dashboard to file with their Qualifying Officer during the qualifying period. |
Election Assessment | Candidates shall pay an election assessment equal to 1% of the salary as of July 1 immediately preceding the first day of qualifying of the office sought. F.S. 99.092(1). The assessment must be paid from the campaign account with check made payable to City of Winter Park. Commissioner salary, July 1, 2025: $15,206.01. Assessment: $152.06 |
Oaths | Candidate must subscribe to the State Candidate Oath – Nonpartisan Office (Form DS-DE- 302NP) and City of Winter Park Candidate Oath, signed in front of the City Clerk. |
