Winter Park is an economically diverse community. The Housing Division coordinates efforts to maintain and create affordable and workforce housing opportunities within the city. They administer the city’s affordable housing linkage fee which is applied to all new residential construction in the city and is utilized for the creation of additional affordable housing. The Housing Division also coordinates affordable and workforce housing initiatives through cooperation and partnerships with the Winter Park Housing Authority, Winter Park-Maitland Habitat for Humanity and with the Hannibal Square Community Land Trust.
