Locations are altered slightly to protect the privacy of the people involved. The coordinates of the crimes are randomly changed by small amounts and the addresses show only a block number, not the actual house address. In general, the locations are accurate to within a block or two.
Results displayed are not distinguished as attempted or completed crimes. An example of this would be; the results may show a vehicle theft, but a vehicle actually may not have been stolen, but an attempt was made to steal it, or a burglary may not have occurred, but an attempt to commit a burglary may have occurred.
