Winter Park Library 10,000 Book Challenge – Last Day
Last day to submit your books for the Summer Reading Challenge.
The Winter Park Public Library (WPPL) invites residents and patrons to participate in a community-wide goal to read 10,000 books from June 1 to August 4 as part of its 2019 Summer Reading Challenge.
“Our primary goal is to encourage students to keep reading while out of school to prevent summer learning loss that could lead to achievement gaps in the following school year,” says Sabrina Bernat, Winter Park Public Library, Assistant Executive Director.
To participate in the Summer Reading Challenge, residents can register and log in books they’ve read at https://wppl.beanstack.org. Anyone who logs in one book, either print books, eBooks, or audiobooks, will be entered to win a grand prize in their age group. For every five books logged in, participants will earn another prize entry. Also, the top ten readers in each age group will win a prize at the end of the challenge.
