Walking Tour of Pineywood Cemetery
Pineywood Cemetery is a beautiful, historic final resting place for generations of African-American Winter Park residents. Take a guided walking tour of the cemetery and learn about some notable Black trailblazers in our history. Discover the stories of Ruby Mae Roberts Ball, Frank Israel, Eula Pearl Knolton Jenkins and Jerry “Disco” Smith, Jr.
Wear closed-toe shoes. Tour assembles at cemetery entrance on Glenridge Way. The tour is guided by the city’s Parks Superintendent Janna Bauman. (Ages 18 and up)
