A Virtual 4th of July Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day with us, virtually!
Due to current COVID-19 social distancing requirements, the City of Winter Park invites the community to enjoy a virtual presentation of its annual 4th of July Celebration. A link to the pre-recorded, virtual celebration will be posted Saturday, July 4, at 9 a.m., on the city’s official website at cityofwinterpark.org, the city’s Facebook page, Vimeo and YouTube accounts, and Orange TV’s YouTube channel. Families and friends are encouraged to enjoy the socially-distanced celebration from the comfort of their own home, at a backyard BBQ or picnic in a park.
In addition, the virtual celebration will be broadcast on the following Orange County stations:

The virtual celebration will begin with a special welcome from Mayor Steve Leary followed by musical performances and historical tributes including:
– Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble led by Dr. John Sinclair
– Americana/rock/country artist and Orlando native Sean Holcomb
– Historical presentation by The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art
– Photomontage of the city’s previous 4th of July celebrations
– Fun message from city staff

Please note: if you would like to hold an event in Winter Park on private property (commercial and/or residential) or within city-owned park an event permit must be submitted.
