Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Financing Program
In February 2016 the City of Winter Park completed an agreement with its first PACE provider, opening businesses and homeowners to the property assessed clean energy (PACE) program. PACE is a voluntary statewide finance program which eliminates the barrier of high upfront costs of clean energy projects by allowing property owners to finance these upgrades through a special assessment levied on the property.
