Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
The Household Hazardous Waste Dropoff is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, from 8 a.m. to noon for Winter Park residents only. No contractors, please.
Household Hazardous Waste (anti-freeze, automobile batteries, CFLs, paints, household chemicals, rechargeable batteries) and eWaste (computers, TVs, etc.) are collected at the Seminole County Central Transfer Station, Monday through Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at 1950 State Road 419 in Longwood. You can also drop these items off at the Orange County Landfill, 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 5901 Young Pine Road in Orlando.
Prescription Drug Reclamation Station – Outdated, unwanted, and unused medicines in their original containers can be safely disposed of at the Winter Park Police Department Prescription Reclamation Station, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the lobby of the Public Safety Facility located at 500 N. Virginia Ave.
