The Water
Distribution Division provides safe and sanitary installation
and repair of water mains, water services, hydrants and valves with
minimal interruption of water service.
The division is responsible for the maintenance
and repair of over 551 miles of water mains, 10,144 isolation valves,
1,272 fire hydrants, 23,993 water meters and water services lines
through out the distribution system. This division also provides
the installation of new water services and meters sets for potable,
irrigation and fire lines to newly developed projects and available
lots inside the city and the Unincorporated Orange County service
areas.
Meter Services provides meter-reading data for
approximately 23,993 water meters to the Utility Billing Department
for monthly billing.
