The Wastewater
Collection Division ensures the safe, healthful, and economical
transportation of domestic and commercial waste to an approved wastewater
treatment facility.
The Wastewater Collection Division is responsible
for the maintenance and repair of the sanitary sewer collection
system. The sanitary collection system is comprised of over 742,473
linear feet of gravity mains, 222,235 linear feet of pressure force
mains and over 4,140 manholes. The collection system is considered
a “mature” system and requires extensive pro-active
measures to insure safe conveyance of sanitary waste.
